PASUNDAN EKSPRES – Daftar Obat Sirup Yang Ditarik BPOM Terkait Gagal Ginjal Akut, Akhirnya, pihak Badan Pengawas Obat dan Makanan (BPOM) RI menyetop izin edar obat sirup dari tiga perusahaan yakni produksi PT Yarindo Farmatama, PT Universal Pharmaceutical Industries, dan PT Afi Farma.

Daftar Obat Sirup Yang Ditarik BPOM Terkait Gagal Ginjal Akut, Beberapa waktu lalu, muncul laporan ketiga perusahaan tersebut ditemukan memakai bahan baku pelarut Propilen Glikol dan produk jadi mengandung cemaran EG yang melebihi ambang batas aman.

Bahan tersebut diduga kuat menjadi biang kerok ratusan kasus gagal ginjal akut pada anak di Indonesia.

Data terakhir dari Kementerian Kesehatan RI hingga Minggu 6 November 2022, Indonesia mencatat total 324 kasus gagal ginjal akut dengan 195 pasien di antaranya meninggal dunia dan sebanyak 102 pasien dinyatakan sembuh.

“Berdasarkan hasil investigasi, BPOM menetapkan sanksi administratif dengan mencabut sertifikat Cara Pembuatan Obat yang Baik (CPOB) untuk sediaan cairan oral nonbetalaktam dan izin edar sirup obat yang diproduksi ketiga industri farmasi tersebut,” ujar pihak BPOM melalui laman resminya.
